Robert Frost poem, "Nothing Gold Can Stay."

Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 11:25am

So after an amazing weekend, all and all, decompressing brings back such rewarding memories, snippets of those irrepressible moments. It reminds of a Robert Frost poem, "Nothing Gold Can Stay."

Nature’s first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf’s a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay.

Enjoy the day, kids. Until next time the alpengold glows again 8-)
